Implementation of Event Service in Network Management

On Linux platform,distributed management and long-distance management were realized based on four levels of network management model.In addition to adopt communications mode of synchronized and simplex between managed object and agent,communications mode of asynchronous and duplex was provided by event service of CORBA.The push model was used by the four levels of network management model: the CORBA object on managed object send information to agent whether agent was ready.Event service of CORBA was implemented on network management;it avoided a series of abuse that was bringing on by poll mechanism on traditional network management system.
