Experimental study on the resistance of blind equalization algorithm against multipath interference in underwater channels

The experimental results of blind equalization of the underwater multipath coherent BPSK signals are discussed in this paper.The transmission signals with statistics suitable for blind equaliza-tion are achieved by programming in Matlab code.By transmitting signals with low carrier frequency in the pool,we get BPSK data with multipath effect.After demodulation and synchronization,the data is fed into blind equalizers using higher statistics explicitly or implicitly.The results are compared with those of the traditional adaptive equalizers.It is shown that the performance of a kind of CMDFE algo-rithm is very similar to its adaptive counterparts.Hence,it is promising in practical use.[
