This paper presents a motion recognition system for upper limbs based on 3D acceleration sensors.Acceleration data collected by two 3D acceleration sensors are used for classifying some motion by support vector machine.Data precessing steps contain preprocessing, wavelet transform and feature selection used by the ant colony algorithm, thus feature vectors take shape. The results show that the system can quickly and effectively classify some motion.
