Based on equalization criterion of statistics,a new blind equalizer is explored to combat the multi-path fading effects of underwater acoustic channels.Towards the time-varying Doppler underwater acoustic channels,a novel combined blind equalization algorithm including the new blind equalizer and phase-locked loop are proposed,which can efficiently and fast correct the channelintroduced carrier phase rotation and improve the convergence rate.The efficiency of the method is proved by computer simulation in underwater acoustic channels.
