Research on Dealing with Conflicts for Distributed DSS

Ziqiang Wang · Mini-micro Systems · 2004

Conflict is inevitably existed in the agent-based DSS because different agents have different assessment criteria. This paper firstly standardizes evaluation decision tasks, then an agent-based approach and detail process for resolving conflict are proposed. The essential idea is that the evaluation agents try to modify the current indicator instantiation and post the result to the negotiation agents who try to mediate by resolving local conflicts. At last, an example is given to shown that the method is feasible.
