Routing Based on Positioning in UWB AdHoc Network

Tingting Wang · Dianzi Ke-ji Daxue xuebao · 2005

This paper shows a new routing strategy for Ad-hoc Network which introduces UWB positioning to routing process. With the topology of whole network obtained from UWB positioning, we treat the distance between nodes as one of the main metrics and thus limit the broadcast scope of the routing request packets while route discovery period, which results in the significant reduction in routing packets flooding. The validity of the algorithm presented in the paper is tested by OPNET at last.
