The Optimal Path Searching Algorithm of Urban Public Traffic Systems

Based on the analysis of the characteristics of urban public transport system,we used the shortest path algorithm to carry on the elaboration and the analysis,then described the shortest path algorithm and improved Dijkstra algorithm. The improved algorithm was applied to the urban public transportation system and finally verified by a simple example. The results showed that the improved algorithm is efficiently better than the Dijkstra algorithm in searching function.
