EDI Utility in the Supplier Chain Management

It is a widely accepted point of view that Electronic Data Interchange(EDI) acts a more and more important role in the information system of auto motive industry,specially for the data transferring of supplier chain management.In the paper,it introduces the general EDI concepts,EDI standard,EDI applications in the auto motive industry and the revenue and prospect of EDI.
