Author discussed different slicing methods and there applications to software engineering,elaborately to software testing.Software testing based on slicing can reduce the range of software under testing,improve the testing efficiency,and give a convenient hand to the process of automatic test data generation,etc.At the same time,this technique can enhance the testing accuracy and sufficiency.
