A New Slanting Printed Character Correction Method

The paper propose a new method of character correction during printed character recognition in order to reduce the effect of image adjustment on the next steps and improve the recognition results.In traditional method,rotation of the image always bring error.In this paper we propose a method which could reduce this mistake.By hough transform on original image we detect the angle and then use projection on corresponding tilt surface.One by one we rotate the the character blocks around the centroid and with the experiment results it has improvement effects on the result.
