A New Solution of Sharing Data with TMS320C54X DSP

The TMS320C5000 DSP of Texas Instruments(TI TM ) integrates special HPI, which functions as a slave and enables the host processor to access the on-chip memory of the TMS320C54X TM DSP. This paper describes the on-chip HPI with an application example for sharing data with a MCS51 MCU using HPI.
