Study of Content-Based Image Retrieval Algorithm for Necktie Pattern

By analyzing the character of necktie pattern and studying image retrieval algorithm, an approach to content-based image retrieval for necktie pattern is proposed in this paper. On the base of pattern region extraction, Gabor wavelet transformation is used to extract pattern's eigenvector, an improved multiple-angle rotate-invariant similarity definition is presented. The experiment results are satisfying.
