Research and implementation of distributed real-time event service based on CORBA
Wang Xin-sheng · Journal of Yanshan University · 2005
Many distribute real-time applications require a scalable event-driven communication model thatprovides the asynchro- nism between suppliers and consumers. At the same time, it can enhance advanced quality of service (QoS). The CORBA event service provides a flexible model for asynchronous communication in distributed objects. The CORBA event service and its draw- back is discussed in this paper, then the frame and the attribute of event service is extended. The next, a distributed real-time event service is implemented. The result of experiments show that the service is able to satisfy some real-time requirements.
