Personal Duplication: Fair Dealing or Infringement

Duplicating for personal application is a classical clause in fair dealing ordained by traditional copyright law. But with the development of science and technology, this clause is being questioned and challenged. To balance the interests of the writer and the user, the legislature amended the traditional clause on personal duplicating. This thesis aims to build a system which suits both Chinese circumstances and the legislation conditions with reference to other counties.
