An image median filter based on rough sets theory

This paper introduces the conception of Rough sets theory and uses Rough sets theory to classify the pixel of the image. An improved median filter algorithm based Rough sets theory is proposed and tested using simulation, and then the result in vision and guide line of Peak Signal Noise Ratio are compared between image median filter of rough sets and image median filter of tradition. These indicate that the algorithm can effectively remove random impulse noise and peppersalt noise in the image and it also can keep a high definition of the image.
