Design of Underground People Tracking System Based on 2.4G RFID

The application of RFID technology in the people tracking in the mine is introduced in this paper.The hardware and software designs of underground people tracking system based on 2.4G RFID are discussed.By using the 2.4G RFID technology,the people with the electric tags can be tracked and identified.The information collected by the tracking card reader can be transmitted to the surface control center.When danger happens,the system would give an alarm automatically,which would improve the efficiency of search and rescue.
