Continuous wavelet transform based on gray moment approach of vibration signal for rotating machines

This paper is concerned with the continuous wavelet transform of vibra tion signal, and the statistical extraction of the signal features accurately , and “firs t-order wavelet gray moment vector” index is presented:The calculation resul ts s hows that the first-order wavelet gray moment vector can express the local info r mation of scalogram better, and the character of vibration sig n al more exactly. This is useful to further research on quantitative index extra cting.
