PKI and the application in email system of e-government

This paper introduces the application of the security policy and technology based on the PKI in the e-government,analyzes the disadvantages,especially in communication mechanism about some secure email protocols,and puts forward an secure email system framework based on PKI. The main aim of the new methods is to solve problems of authentication, nonrepudiation, privacy and integrity during the course of sending and receiving.
