[Objective]To investigate the distribution of abnormal cardiogram in the Wuhan City residents, and provide scientific evidences for future cardiovascular disease control.[Methods]Using statistical methods,we analyzed 11690 cardiogram examination results, and investigated the distribution of abnormal cardiogram in different age groups and the relationship between the abnormal cardiogram and gender.[Results]Normal cases comprised 61.8% and abnormal cases comprised 38.2%. The abnormal cardiogram rates were ST-T wave abnormity(12.4%),sinus arrhythmia(12.2%),heart-block(3.7%),other cases(3.6%),left ventricular high voltage(2.2%),anomalous arhythmia(1.9%),atrium and ventricle hypertrophy(1.0%),low voltage(1.0%),and old myocardial infarction(0.2%),respectively. The analysis on relevant coefficients among age groups indicated that the detection rate increased for most of the abnormal cardiogram as the age increased, such as ventricle hypertrophy(r = 0.890,P﹤0.05),old myocardial infarction(r = 0.913,P﹤0.05),left ventricular high voltage(r = 0.895,P﹤0.05),low voltage(r = 0.931,P﹤0.05),anomalous arhythmia(r = 0.939,P﹤0.05)and heart-block(r = 0.948,P﹤0.05). The ST-T changes among 40s age group were substantially higher than those among the age groups of less than 40,and there was statistically difference. The abnormal cardiogram rate in male was higher than that in female, and there was no also statistically significant.[Conclusion]Regular cardiogram examinations are of great importance for detecting all kinds of heart diseases in early stage.
