The Performance of Using Multiple Input Multiple output(MIMO) in TD-SCDMA Uplink

The paper introduced a TD-SCDMA uplink system combined with MIMO technology to improve the performance of the present TD-SCDMA system with a little change in the hardware.This system used the low complex transmitted antenna with two elements in the mobile terminal,and the joint detection technology in the base station(BS).The paper built an uplink system model,analyzed the changes of SNR(signal noise rate) in such situation.At last,the BER(bit error rate) of TD-SCDMA signal was got from the simulation results,and compared with that of the present TD-SCDMA system.The simulation results show that the system model proposed is practical,and it proves that using dual-antenna transmit diversity can improve the performance of the present TD-SCDMA system.
