The Design of Dummy Variable in Hill_2 Coding System

In the living of modern times, Cryptology couldn′t be replaced with any other.Although Hill2 coding system is only one embranchment of classical cryptology,it would be helpful to the study and learning of cryptology if we could learn Hill2 in details.In this paper we will analyze the process of encrypting and decrypting in Hill2 coding system.We find there exists the bug in the design of dummy variable,then we present three methods,which could be used to overcome the bug.In the last of paper,we advanced some further questions.We hope our work will be helpful to the development of cryptology.
