Continual real time data acquisition, which provides sufficient and detailed condition and fault information,is vital for condition monitoring.Based on the low-cost and steady-capability DOS(disk operation system) circumstance, two key technologies about the realization of continual real time data acquisition are introduced. One is DMA(direct memory access) and the other is two-buffer technology.Skillfully using these two technologies will enhance the coordination of CPU(center processing unit) and DMAC(DMA controller),which enables the accessibility of continual real time data acquisition in the DOS circumstance.
