Design and implementation of performance management subsystem for EPON

This paper analyzes requirements for performance management in EPONs,puts forward a kind of scheme for performance management subsystem based on SNMP protocol and C/S software structure and fi-nally implements it with Java and MySQL,which completes the functions such as the configuration,collec-tion,statistic and storage of performance parameters for EPON system.
