The Application of GPS in Engineering Measurement

GPS measurement technology is applied in the road design of the senior-talent-neighborhood in Luoyang City. Under the principle of layer-upon-layer distribution and dual-level control, the control points of two levels are measured by GPS static state measurement( STK) and dynamic state measurement ( RTK). The ordinary measurement is also used for checking, and for the points that GPS can not be us玠 in. It is shown by the measurement practice that GPS measurement has higher measurement accuracy , lower cost, more flexibility and less measurement time than the ordinary measurement.
