Analysis of sequence generating on IP-Based traffics

With the explosive growth of Internet ,there is an increasingly demand of quality of service (QoS ).The analysis basis of QoS is the modeling technology of IP traffic flow. According to the experience of Internet operation ,the traffic flow express some selfsimilar feature ,rather than a nonstationary poision process. In this paper, the selfsimilar traffic's characteristics are introduced. Several kinds of methods of sequence generating are analyzed, and a comparing of these methods on precision and complexity is given also.
