Application of SPE to reenginering with UML

In this paper, the present author first argues the method of Software Performance Engineering ( SPE) , including its concept, process, strategy, tools and integration with the other models of software development. Then, a discussion is given to the method for applying SPE to reengineering from dataflow - based model (including analysis model and design model) to UML 's model.
