Tentative Approach to Nouns Serving as a Premodifier

Both nouns and adjectives can serve as premodifiers.But what are their similarities and differences? What semantic characteristic is there between a noun used as a premodifier and the noun it modifies? And what must we pay attention to when using a noun as a premodifier? This paper is intended to make a brief presentation.
