This paper introduces the series of the ADI BF592 processor and presents the solution to build the hardware platform for the embedded system on DSP.The traditional fingerprint recognition platform uses CPU to realize algorithm.This platform can't meet the demands of market in power consumption and portability.With the wide application of DSP in the field of image processing,the fingerprint recognition architecture based on DSP becomes absolutely the research direction of future fingerprint recognition system.In this paper,a miniaturization fingerprint recognition hardware is designed which makes use of the architecture of DSP.The paltform meets the demands of market in power and consumption.
