Application of Multi-radar Data Fusion with Set Pair Analysis

Liu Yi-an · 2005

Multi-radar will be influenced by low-altitude mix waves, electronic jamming and probe precision of radars themselves during probing targets. It usually makes some radar probe data unreliable and then causes the precision of the data processing in the fusion center descends. A thought of set pair analysis by using the character of the first fusion data is presented. By combining the probed data with the first fusion data, the interval estimation about the targets at present time is derived. By getting rid of the probed data that fall out of the estimation interval, the second fusion is made. Simulation results indicate that the algorithm is not only simple, but also effective in improving the tracking precision of the uncertainty radar system by using set pair analysis to realize the select optimal fusion of multi-radar probe data.
