The communication is one of key technologies of mobile agent systems. Now lots of related researchers have provided some good communication mechanisms which can meet the need of the communication of mobile agents. But how can we implement these mechanisms effectively? The researches on this are not enough. This paper bring out an approach of sendbox to communicate with agents.Adopting a HomeServer to record every agent's location and status information. HomeServer is assigned with an event list collaborating with every communication platform's sendbox to deal with unsent message. When communication partners reside on host, they will communicate directly. When one of the communication partners is migrating, the unsent message will be sent to the sendbox of the sender's communication platform and one record will be added in homeServer's event list. When migrating agent resides on one host, the unsent message will be sent by the previous sender platform's sendbox to receiver. Adopting sendbox approach can provides location-transparency, asynchronism and reliability.
