With the increasing variety and quantity,computer virus have permeates through each field of the information society and brings enormous destruction and potential threat to computer system and information security.The commonly used virus-killer technology makes use of the method of virus code scanning to check whether the file contains virus,but this traditional technology can only find out and kill the known virus effectively and do nothing with the unknown ones. Introduces the main anti-virus technology and puts forward a new countermeasure of preventing the unknown virus based on the characteristic of file in the computer.The operation result in Windows XP and Windows 2000 has proved its feasibility and good prospect.
