Software Defect Tracking System Based on CMM and ASP.NET

Software testing is the key practices of software quality assurance that is the key process area (KPA) of software ability maturity model CMM II.It is an important part of testing job that the defect is tracked and managed.In order to centralize managing the defect that is found in the course of software testing,guaranteeing each defect can be dealt with in time.According to the description of defect tracking in CMM II,using ASP.NET technology,the thesis designs the software defect tracking system based on three layers network framework.The system realizes the procedure of defect tracking,controls the state change of defect,offers prompt problem reports,notices and orients corresponding person,having such functions as statistical analysis, inquiry, authority management etc.,thus helping software enterprises to improve the quality level of the software.
