Application of Engineering Log for Stabilizing Oil and Tapping the Potential

At the middle and late stages of oilfield development, measures were taken for enhancing oil increment and stimulation, oil and water well situations became more and more complex. Engineering log technique could be used for detecting the downhole conditions and providing scientific basis for implementing measures of oil increment and stimulation. The development situation of engineering log techniques is studied. Application examples of the engineering log are discussed. The techniques are the effective means for remaining oil detecting at the late stage of oilfield development, by which eyes are provided for application of engineering log technique in oilfield development. It plays an important role for raising oil recovery rate.
