Classification of Safe State and Application for Foundation Pit

Xiong Chao-hui · Journal of Civil Engineering and Management · 2011

The some safety factors related to foundation pit engineering are given in Technical specification for retaining and protection of building foundation excavations(JGJ120-99) and the safety alarming value for monitoring the foundation pit during work progress is stipulated by Technical Code for Monitoring of Building Foundation Pit Engineering(GB50497-2009).However,there is some faultiness, for example, there is not process control of warning and data each monitoring is non-synchronous to reach the safety alarming value. The monitoring alarm is then incomplete in the integral control of pit.The classing method of safe state is suggested to avoid the burstiness the cognition to the safe state of working progress and demand for coping behavior of different safe states. As a real example, the safe state of pit in the progress of excavation is defined based on the analysis of the monitoring data and predetermination of applying inversion calculation. The advantage of this method is expedient for the process control of construction safety.
