Research of Small-write Problem in Volume Manage Module for NAS

The performance of volume manager module is very important to NAS device. Because the small-write can generate a large of disk I/O operations, it will degrade the performance of system. So this article focuses on how to minimize the influence of the small-write problem during designing volume manager module. We do some research about small-write problem by decreasing disk I/O operations. According to different instances, we provide different solutions and algorithms.
