Waveform Entropy-based Target Detection in HRRPs

Target detection in high resolution range profiles(HRRP),which is essentially extend target detection,shows some characteristics in contrast to low resolution radar echoes According to the waveform characteristic of HRRP and white noise.A waveform entropy-based algorithm is proposed for the target detection in HRRP.This method requires fewer priors about the target signal and noise,and is of low computation complexity and convenient for implementation.Simulations show that the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the detection performance.
