Technique of the Air-cushion Underwater Rock-plug Blasting and Its Application

The inlet of conveyance for the upper reservoir of Xianghongdian pumped-storage project was constructed by underwater rock-plug blasting.In order to ensure the security of project and to decrease waterpower loss,the new technique of air-cushion buffering was applied,this method solves a number of problems of the inland similar project,such as the oversized blasting stir water hammer force,occuring blowout and cumulated stones to the downstream hole of rock pit.A breakthrough in the control technique of entrance molding,eliminating blowout,collecting rock stones and controlling blasting concussion influence is obtained.The article mainly discusses the renovation results of blasting type and air-cushion shock absorption.
