The paper describe on process of design and operation moorings in South China Sea for drilling engineering in deepwater.It is obvious that the project of mooring had been completed in serious condition,which not only the operation of the semi of NH5 has been limited in 457 m of water depth when she was new rig out the yard but also the capabilities of 3 AHVs had achieved to maximum when running mooring for the trial well.The success of mooring had guarantee to the engineering of drilling in safety and smooth.
