On the Formation and Evolution of the Ontology Tradition

The ontology question,as a western philosophy question and the most basic question of philosophy in classical philosophy particularly,its connotations of rich and broad scope,of abstract thought,of fantasy distance,the other is the knowledge than not,so it is the most complex,of course,the most puzzling and the most attractive question of philosophy in all the philosophic problems.Coming up the inspection from the history,we may divide the ontology into the ancient ontology,the middle ages-modern times ontology and the modern ontology.It has occupied the dominant status for more than 2000 years long time in the western philosophy history,and it is still the philosophers’argument’s ontology question warmly until today,definitely it is inadequate.Therefore,the study about ontology question is still of the great significance.
