Affecting Factor of Footprint for Boost-Glide Vehicle
Feng Bi-mingb · Modern Defence Technology · 2013
The boost-glide vehicle's trajectory optimization planning problem is converted into nonlinear planning problem by using Radau pseudospectral method. An integral footprint is obtained by software simulating. The effects of the lift to drag ratio, terminal velocity and terminal flight path angle on the footprint are respectively analyzed in detail. The result shows that the shape of footprint is similar to ellipse, and the geographical cover ability is determined by the velocity. The lift to drag ratio and terminal velocity affects footprint more greatly compared with terminal flight path angle.
