The design and realization of MPEG-4 digital video recorder based on the S3C2410

A digital video recorder is introduced in this paper. The system uses AISC-IME6400 for real time MPEG-4 video com-pression, embedded microprocessor S3C2410 for system control, and large capacity flash memory for storage. The overall design of the system is discussed, the design of some modules and key interface circuits is introduced, the driver and application software based on the Linux is also introduced.
