Statins' pharmacokinetics and pharmacokinetic interactions with other drugs were reviewed.Statin monotherapy is generally well tolerated,with a low incidence of adverse events.However,the coadministration with statins and other drugs may induce the pharmacokinetic interactions thereof to lower the efficacy or to potentiate the toxic and side effect.
