Design and Implementation for ECDIS Development Library Compliant with International Standards

Development library of electronic chart display and information system(ECDIS) is an important development platform for various marine information systems.A development library of ECDIS,which is compliant with international standards,is introduced.The functions of six subsystems of the library are given in detail.The method and steps to interpret the data of electronic chart S57 are described.Also,the method of realizing S52 symbolic library and the data structure improving the speed of symbolizing objects are presented.
