Analysis of synchronization in the SC_FDE system using UW

The single carrier system with frequency domain equalization(SC-FDE) using a known sequence(unique word, UW) is introduced. The effect of frequency and timing offset are analyzed and a method of frequency and timing synchronization is proposed. The received constellation and the BER of the system are simulated. Results show that the method can solve the synchronization question in the SC-FDE system.
