Aiming at problem that unlawful cutting of forest becomes more and more rampant at present, and there is no special equipment for real-time detection of such behavior,a sensor based on audio recognition is designed and implemented for unlawful cutting of forest,by analysis on intensity and spectrum characteristics of sound signal. In order to identify whether there is a chain-saw logging behaviour, use microphone for acoustic signal acquisition and micro controller for acoustic signal processing and characteristics extraction.By testing and field application indicate that the sensor is easy to install and power supply,anti-interference performance is high and can identify chain-saw logging sound accurately in real-time.
