A P2P-Based Application Architecture for Wireless Sensor Networks
Wu Jin · Microelectronics & Computer · 2006
With the recent development of the wireless sensor networks(WSN),it can be envisioned that the future wireless sensor networks will be connected by the infrastructure network such as the Internet and accessible to a wide range of applications. In this paper,we propose a P2P-based application framework(P2PWSN)for wireless sensor networks. The P2P technology alleviates the data communication bottleneck and allows easy deployment and free join-in and retreat-from of WSNs,improving the WSN scalability. It also hides the heterogeneity of the underlying networks and provides multiple access to the users.
