Research on Application of RTSP on Proxy Caching for Streaming Media

The proxy caching for streaming media is an Internet technique to overcome the defect of its unfit for the transmission of streaming media. Based on the introduction of technology of proxy caching for streaming media, this paper explicates the application of RTSP, which is a key protocol——RTSP on proxy caching for streaming media. It puts forward a solution based on PTSP to the problem of content consistency of proxy caching.
