Application of Improved Entropy Weight Model to Quality of Information Disclosure Assessment ——Empirical Analysis and Test from the Shenzhen Stock Exchange

This paper,through constructing three-level evaluation index system for quality of information disclosure,including direct and indirect,qualitative and quantitative,internal and external,introduces a improved entropy weight model of information theory,and applies it to measure quality of information disclosure of listed companies from the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2012. Based on the empirical analysis and testing,the result shows that there is higher consistency between measurement of improved entropy weight model and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange appraisal conclusion,and the differences are no significant. This shows stronger applicability and effectiveness of improved entropy weight model in the quality of information disclosure assessment.
