Use of Altered Chord in the Improvisational Piano Accompaniment

With its special sound effect and manifestation,altered chord is used in improvisational piano accompaniment to enrich the harmony and expressive force.From the practical aspect,this paper tries to summarize the choice and use of altered chord in improvisational piano accompaniment,based on analyses of several songs.
