Architecture of Dam Management Information System and Design of Middleware

GU Yan-ling · Water Resources and Power · 2008

A feasible architecture of dam management information system can not only shorten the development period, but also improve the stability of the system. The applied middleware technology can not only support heterogeneous-platform and distributed systems, but also balance resource and has the advantage of code reusing. It has been used in multiply-layer Client/Sever System as each layer frame or the relationship between layers. This paper has researched the application of middleware in dam management information system based on multiply-layer architecture, analyzed the structure and function of the presentation layer, the logic service layers and the data layer, developed the core middleware of the logic service layers-service layer bus and the general database access middleware aiming at distributed heterogeneous databases, solved the unified services management problem and the contradictions between distributed data and centralized application.
